The Lions Clubs Brake/Unterweser (Germany) and Klaipeda (Lithuania) jointly support the
International School of Ukraine in Klaipeda.
A total of around 750 pupils from Ukraine are taught here according to the Ukrainian curriculum and by teachers from Ukraine.
As you can see from the photos, the building is old, the classrooms are small and there is a need for help.
The two Lions Clubs are delighted to receive financial support; the money you donate will be used by the clubs for selected projects. All participants in the video work on a voluntary basis.

The story of the musicians: The ‚Johann Hillen Fund‘
Over the past 20 years, young musicians and students of the Klaipeda Conservatory have been supported with the help of the ‚Johann Hillen Fund‘. Some of them took part in this video.
The fund is ‘topped up’ by the Brake Lions, the Klaipeda Lions Club selects the respective participants, maintains contact with them and organises the expenses together with the school’s supervising teacher.
